Target Grade Levels

Level 1 is designed for students with little to no experience writing full essays but who can write paragraphs with some guidance. Level 2 assumes that students can outline and write an essay somewhat independently. Level 3 assumes that students can write essays independently with well-developed arguments. If you are not sure what level is best for your student, send a sample persuasive essay to me at jonathanwest1@gmail.com. If your student does not have a sample, see a list of many possible topics for writing one.
