Tutoring Testimonials

Your tutoring gave me a solid foundation for reading and writing. I became confident in my analytical and interpretive skills. I never had much trouble in my English classes, and I didn't need to study much for the ACT or the SAT.—Jaden

I learned not just how to write effectively, but also analyze complexities in literature which opened up my worldview.—Joshua

Helped develop strong reading comprehension, grammar, and writing skills. College essay revisions were also very helpful.—Cody

Has helped immensely with building my vocabulary, fluency, conversational knowledge, and just overall understanding of English and the history of the language. Also helps greatly with essays and English homework, and definitely made me feel more at ease before big tests.—Joseph

While I was the type of young student to read books until 3AM under the covers with a book lamp, not many of my peers enjoyed the humanities as much as I did. This type of drive followed me in elementary and middle school, where I did not find the language arts programs in my curriculum to be challenging for me. I needed to be pushed—to be stretched creatively—and Jonathan's tutoring helped me do so beyond the borders of the standard classroom. More than grammatical errors and functional issues, he introduced me to the wide forms of reading and writing that I used in my daily life in college, and continue to use in my workplace.
